According to the latest available data referring to the Employability Survey of Graduates from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, the employability rate of Masters in Conservation Biology is 90%, and the employment rate in the training area is 66.7 %.

The master’s degree in Conservation Biology provides robust scientific, technical and multidisciplinary training, which allows students to integrate into the job market in a multitude of sectors:

– Regional and National public entities (central and regional administration; e.g. Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests – ICNF);

– Local public entities (e.g. Municipalities, Department of Environment);

– Zoological parks / Botanical gardens;

– Scientific research (e.g. Research Centers/ PhD applications)

– Companies whose activities area focused in the area of Environment and Natural Resources (e.g. Environmental Consulting, Forestry and/or hunting companies, Nature Tourism, Ecotourism; Environment/Conservation Department)

– Non-Governmental Organizations (e.g. Environmental)
